Original design frames were created by Brandon Lee Smith with Octane, and the animation was blocked out by Kevin Liotti. After a few rounds of reconfiguring how the Rube Goldberg machine worked Ben Chwirka and myself did the final pass of asset creation, animation, and texturing. After rendering everything out the scribbles and text were composited in from Art Director Mike Scorano and Creative Director Aaron Ray.

Another really fun project to work on. Einstein Brothers needed some videos to show off their new product, Twist n’ Dip bagels, “the worlds funnest bagel”. Concept, design and character design from creative director Aaron Ray, Ben Chwirka and I were put in charge of creating and animating all the 3D assets and compositing everything together.

Creative Director Aaron Ray developed the style frames while Ben Chwirka, myself, and Dan Bucknam handed the 3D asset creation and animation.

Nissan Zero Gravity Seats : Almost entirely done in 3D, there were two characters we created which had a little bit of rigging and animation. Some of the challenges we faced for this project were the transitions between each of the scenes, along with trying to get the car and driver to match the 2D lighting style we were going for.

“To help explain the benefits of Zero Gravity Seats, this new animated spot for Nissan opens on a drive through the country and quickly takes the viewer on a brief journey into outer space to explore the principles that informed the technology. Taking cues from sci-fi films and graphics novels, the visual design came to life through a combination of full 3D animation and 2D styling.”

These videos were displayed in Reebok retail stores on vertically inset panels. Each shoe is specifically designed for a certain environment. Big thanks to Shawn Astrom for helping out with the 3D design and introducing me to Corona Render!

These digital towers were featured in the Nike SOHO store in New York City. My role involved creating the animations and ensuring that the GFX elements were accurately mapped to the provided template. To aid visualization, I developed a 3D mockup to preview the graphics in context.

SNKRS XPRESS was an interactive Nike experience designed for superfans in Toronto, Canada. I was responsible for the ticker board animations and provided animated assets for the custom app developed by our interactive team.

The Nike Air Hangar was an immersive experience where visitors entered a massive cube outfitted with interactive LED screens. Guests could perform a slam dunk while multiple cameras captured their movements from various angles. I contributed assets to support the interactive team in bringing this experience to life.

This project utilized transparent video screens to celebrate 30 years of Nike Air. As the screen moved across the shoes, animations representing each shoe’s style would play. I was responsible for animating the 2D graphics, collaborating with other animators at Legwork Studio to execute the final visuals.

These videos were designed as Instagram Stories, with animations transitioning seamlessly between each tap. I was responsible for animating the assets alongside other animators at Legwork. A selection of the 3D assets was provided by ManVsMachine.
